History

The idea for ArtShortCut was established in 2006 by Kira Sjöberg and Leeni Ojaniemi when working on the international art markets. Both Leeni and Kira realised how the workings of the art market are hard for an outsider to understand and the messages sent from the market are confusing and often un-inviting. ArtShortCut was born out of the need to give people who are interested in collecting, or consuming art, easy expert access to the art market and art world. Over the past two years the idea has developed to what it is today and aims at providing a quality service that caters to the needs of a public interested in the art markets.
