Leeni

Leeni Ojaniemi is an expert in the art market with a long term record of successful advisory services for collectors. She has introduced a number of affluent young individuals to art and the understanding of it. She has a wide range of contacts that span from galleries to dealers and collectors in Western Art. She also specializes on emerging art markets such as India/Middle East/Pakistan/China and she is currently researching art movements in Turkey and Africa. She received her BA in Art History at Goldsmiths College, London. Leeni's background includes working for auction houses such as Bonham's and Christie's. She has worked on a number of projects with galleries and museums and she is co-curating an exhibition on Iranian art in London. She travels to art fairs across the globe and heads ASC London office. Kira

Kira Sjöberg is an art markets expert and specialises on new market structures. She has extensive work experience from the art markets as well as the third sector and some from financial market sectors. Kira has worked at both Christies and Standard & Poors and is an experienced project manager in both areas. Kira advises several private and corporate clients and has introduced many to the possibilities the art market provides. Demographically her expertise lies in the Nordic and Baltic markets and is very interested in the Russian market. Academically Kira specialises on arts value construction on the art markets. Alongside her doctorate level research at the university of Helsinki, she has received both a BA and MA from Sussex University, UK. Kiras specific research interest is in the social investment, CSR specific artist market and management and the art market for women. She has published articles on the Swedish, Danish and Icelandic art markets and heads ASCs Northern offices and can be contacted on kira@artshortcut.com.
